Siemens Mobility Portugal, supplies integrated Mobility solutions for urban, interurban and logistics transport. For the efficient transportation of passengers and goods, we associate specialization in automation and electrification for railway solutions, supply of rail vehicles, turnkey systems, consulting and consumer services, as also development of Mobility software solutions. We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Logistics Trainee to join our team. About The Role The Procurement & Supply Chain Logistics Trainee, will be responsible for handling the procurement and logistics processes, within the bid and execution stages of Siemens Mobility projects / opportunities. Will also be in permanent contact with the different stakeholders of the company value chain, such as vendors, engineering, bid and execution teams, both on local and international environments. Detailed Responsibilities As Procurement & Supply Chain Logistics Trainee, you will mostly be responsible for: • Integration of the procurement function in bid and execution stages of Siemens Mobility projects / opportunities • Identify, involve, integrate and manage all relevant procurement functions for a bid or a project • Align schedules (e.g. project schedule vs. procurement specific schedules for RFQs, RFIs, supplier selection, benchmarking, etc.) • Perform Operational Procurement tasks, such as Purchase Orders, e – events, Logistics Scheduling, etc. • Analyze procurement and supplier related risks • Prepare and run supplier RFQs (price/commercials/contractual T&Cs) • Prepare, update and manage relevant procurement documentation Skills & Capabilities • Degree or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Management or similar • Proven experience (always inferior to 2 Years) will be valued • MS Office proficiency • SAP proven experience will be valued • Strong and articulated communication skills • Strong Team spirit • Native in Portuguese • Proficiency in English If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply!
