      About The Role & What You’ll Do

      Business Services Lead for Project Burgundy. Setting up contracts for all Indirect Procurement activities, including, but not exhaustive, Utilities, Workplace Service contracts, Occupational Health contracts, Consulting contracts. This role is responsible for identifying proper suppliers, negotiating and executing the contracts. This role will work closely with the Mexico Indirect Procurement team.

      You will be leading projects and program independently under supervision of the BO PMO for Project Burgundy, working closely with other PMO team members and extended Unilever Mexico Procurement team with a spend of approximately $15M.

      Main Accountabilities

      • Supports the execution of and is responsible for local negotiation planning & execution, ensuring commercial benefits (savings, cash, total value) captured in benefits tools and signed off by finance.
      • Working with Project and PMO team, regional stakeholders, and Supplier Operations to determine preferred supplier listings and agreeing catalogues / rate cards for regional suppliers.
      • Proactively work with Supplier Operations to ensure day to day transactional work is being supported and making use of eProcurement tools to deliver increased value.
      • Providing credible market data and local supplier segmentation, creating detailed budget and spend analysis to identify sourcing pipeline and plan that meets local business needs.
      • Ensuring contractual commitments are in place and signed off by stakeholders, legal and finance and another specific area as appropriate.
      • Manage escalation issues arising from markets and seek help from Strategic Sourcing manager or Portfolio lead as needed.
      • Proactively ensure transparency and compliance with business policies for sourcing activities in Mexico
      • Ensuring that stakeholders are complying to company policy and guidelines.

      What You’ll Need To Succeed

      • 3+ years of procurement experience (Indirect Procurement experience will be preferred)
      • Knowledgeable in Sourcing, negotiation, and contracting management. (Business services will be preferred)
      • Strong experience in design of and running RFP’s for outsourced services (7-step sourcing methodology)
      • Understanding of supply market, value chain, and FMCG knowledge. Knowledge of Workplace services and Facilities Services, other business services portfolios are a strong plus.
      • Experience in supplier relationship management.
      • Experience on small-scale project management.
      • Knowledge of Unilever business systems is a plus i.e., Coupa, CLM, SRS and Aravo,
        as well as Analytical tools (Excel, PowerBI)
        • Experienced in setting up and managing supplier contracts, preferably in indirects
        • Experience in working successfully in virtual team environments.
        • Managing and influencing senior (WL2+) stakeholders in the market
        • Managing complex and dynamic workload, running multiple projects simultaneously
        • Working knowledge of Unilever business systems e.g. SRS, CLM, Coupa, RSP, Velocity
