      CAREER OPPORTUNITY

      An exciting career opportunity exists for a Procurement Administrator (JG 10) at Santam Namibia at the Windhoek branch.

      What will you do?

      The Procurement Administrator’s primary activity claims procurement is the creation and maintenance related to supplier agreements/contracts. To implement and maintain procurement, service and supply contracts in line with the requirements of the relevant commodity objectives with the emphasis on contract maintenance.

      Responsibilities, includes but not limited to:

      • Contract Administration and maintenance (full cycle)
      • System updates of pricing / item masters etc.
      • Maintain and update supplier base
      • Assist with spend / supplier analysis
      • Liaise with suppliers as and when required
      • Assist with industry research, benchmarking exercises and business case development
      • Collate information for management reports etc.

      Qualification and Experience

      • Pass mark in Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12(Old Curriculum) with a minimum of 22 marks
      • Relevant degree / national diploma qualification in Procurement
      • Minimum 3 years working experience in Supplier procurement
      • Experience in short term insurance procurement will be an advantage

      Foreign qualifications must be submitted with an evaluation report from Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA).

      • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
      • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage
