- Req#: PROCU002207
- Check intake forms and request for completeness and clarity. Communicate with the requester to obtain necessary missing information when needed to move requests forward.
- Follow established processes to enter and manage requests for purchases and agreements for the company.
- Support the Procurement Team with day-to-day activities to ensure continuity and extraordinary customer service for internal and external partners.
- Follow procurement and finance processes to help move requests through the Procure-to-Pay process within the Oracle ERP system while ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management policies.
- Complete data management and record review projects to help maintain data integrity across various systems.
- Maintain required documentation and data entry to assure compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls and processes.
- Work with team members to manage spreadsheets, shared documents, and repositories to aid in tracking and tracing of purchase requests, orders, and agreements while in process.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing or related field preferred. Specific procurement/purchasing experience in a life sciences manufacturing organization a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are a necessity.
- Candidates must be self-motivated and demonstrate an ability to work in ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to be independent as well as a team player and work effectively as a part of a cross functional team.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is a bonus.
