The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) is currently seeking a Procurement Officer 3 – in the Office of Procurement Management.
The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) currently manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to 89 Executive Branch agencies and managed network services to more than 1,200 state and local government entities. IT infrastructure services encompass mainframes, servers, service desk, end user computing, disaster recovery and security. Managed network services include the state’s wide and local area networks, voice, cable and wiring, and conferencing services.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, prepares, manages, and completes all sourcing processes of complex solicitations for formal and informal Georgia Technology Authority procurements. This includes the solicitation lifecycle from creation up to and including contract award and post contract award management. Provides support to and coordinates with multiple departments and Business Owners within the Georgia Technology Authority and the marketplace.
AGENCY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (purchasing), business, or related field and two (2) years of sourcing and procurement experience OR six (6) years of related experience of progressive sourcing and procurement experience.
· Georgia Certified Purchasing Associate (GCPA) certification AND Georgia Certified Purchasing Manager (GCPM) certification or certifications must be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
(Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience):
· Extensive knowledge of or familiarity with Team Georgia Marketplace; or TGM Buyer/Approval/Sourcing Certification
· Working knowledge of or familiarity with posting solicitations to the Georgia Procurement Registry (GPR)
· Strong proficiency Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· State government procurement experience
COMPENSATION/WORKER TYPE/ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Hiring Salary: *$58,100.00 - $74,200.00
Worker Type: Hybrid – State of Georgia Remote Work Option
*Current Georgia state government employees will be subject to SPB rule provisions.
