      We are seeking a Procurement Process Owner, Specialist to support in the development and maintenance of global strategic procurement processes, policies, guidelines, and trainings. In this essential role, you will work closely with the Global Procurement Process Owner, who is leading the Proc to Pay workstream in the SAP S4/Hana (SAPphire) programme, to ensure that all SAP connections and relationships are recorded in our critical business processes. You will also collaborate closely with other key members of the team who manage our supplier relationship management tools and related processes. Lastly, you will also work closely with our key stakeholders, the Business Area Procurement organizations, IT Organization and others to name a few. These relationships will be essential to capture all critical elements of our processes and ways of working and you will be instrumental in our journey in building the foundational process maps and procedures for the organization.

      This position is a global role, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Depending on where the person is hired, 20% travel may be required to Europe.

      You will be a part of the Procurement Excellence team, which helps the Business Area Procurement teams exhibit excellence and maturity by establishing processes and tools and disseminating best-in-class practices across the organization, allowing for informed procurement choices.

      We work closely with the Business Area Procurement Heads, SAPphire (SAP) Program team, IT organization, and other key stakeholders.       What you'll do

      • Develop, document and maintain key strategic procurement and supply chain processes in Metso (e.g. Source to Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Management).
      • Govern and project manage major global procurement process mapping initiatives.
      • Understand complexities, and drive improvements to professionalize our strategic sourcing processes.
      • Organize workshops with stakeholders to collect inputs and drives process mapping, governance and adherence.
      • Assess our strategic sourcing processes to identify harmonization opportunities and drives Procurement organizations for efficiency improvements when applicable.
      • Actively strive for best practice / continuous process improvement and drive development to improve efficiency through digitalization and automation in line with the internal strategy.
      • Facilitate and support implementation and training across the Procurement organization.
      • Establishe and maintain procurement process control structure, rules, policies and guidelines.
      • Support the development of a strategic procurement digital tool landscape.
      • Ensure strategic procurement compliance and acts as key procurement interface to internal and external auditors.

      Who you are

      • University education in Business with a focus on procurement/supply chain operations
      • 5 + years’ experience within a procurement and supply chain organization
      • Demonstrated experience in process management with a strong understanding of the source-to-pay process, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge to design new systems and processes an asset
      • Excellent facilitation skills and experience is necessary.
      • Experienced with S4/Hana would be an asset.
      • Be successfully able to work with others in a matrix from a range of cultures within a diverse environment.
      • Excellent communications, influence, and analytical skills
      • Fluent in English, oral and written.
