Assist in creating and maintaining Cvent registration sites for many Canadian meeting and events;
Support the team that provides a concierge planning service for PwC events
provide MES services to many hybrid/virtual meetings within the PwC Canada environments
sources required services and vendors both internally and externally best execute events;
Coordinate and review logistics;
works in a collaborative team atmosphere to provide event support, ideas and solutions.
manage the Cvent registration as required
Creation of support materials for events (i.e. namebadge templates)
other duties as assigned.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
A community college diploma, or bachelor's degree.
An enthusiastic team player who embraces a diverse workload.
Any previous experience with the Cvent software is ideal

Description:
The Meeting & Events team (MES ) , a group within Procurement, is seeking a Junior Event Specialist to support their team. This Event Specialist will spend 50% of their time providing service delivery in booking and planning meetings and events at PwC. This role will have a focus on creating Cvent registration sites along with maintaining the Cvent event forms. In addition, the job will entail working with the onshore team supporting ongoing event projects. The position reports to the Director/ Manager, Meeting & Event Services.
The role of Junior Event Specialist will best suit an individual who is: professional in approach, high-energy, disciplined, exhibits exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The individual must possess strong communication skills and an openness to learn new event software skills.
