      About SPG:

      Specialty Program Group (SPG) is the wholesale & MGA division of HUB International (5th Largest Global Broker). SPG acts in a holding company capacity acquiring best in class underwriting businesses to operate independently under discrete brands (portfolio companies).

      Position Summary:

      Producer; To develop new agency relationships and grow existing ones for the brokerage division of CSRisks, while meeting or exceeding goals.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Four-year college degree or (equivalent in work experience) in risk management, business administration, or related field

      • 2-4 years of insurance experience in a fast-paced office environment

      • Knowledge of professional and executive liability coverages

      • Passion for helping others

      • Must be proficient in MS Office products including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

      • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel


      • Develop and execute marketing strategies to build their own book of buisness

      • Call on new agents in the US to develop new business.

      • Visit with existing agents to solidify relationships and grow book of business

      • Manage book of business from submission to policy issuance

      • Negotiate terms with Insurers

      • Establish relationships with underwriters and carriers

      • Attend industry events

      Physical Requirements must be able to:

      • Lift 25-50 pounds.

      • Use a computer and telephone to communicate effectively with Insureds, Agents and Insurers

      • Travel required 25%-40%

      The compensation for this position is a variable comp structure, i.e., with a draw plus commission. As such, the total salary paid will vary directly depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at any particular time. The draw range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 and could be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
