Job Description

- Support Product Management, User Experience, & Technology teams in identifying opportunities to enhance site functionality and increase site monetization.
- Develop measurement plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of new enhancements and experiments on the site.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Insights to provide a customer-centric perspective to web and mobile app project analysis and insights.
- Design experiments, validate test data, conduct analysis, and report results to measure the impact of functionality enhancements on site metrics such as traffic and conversion.
- Communicate test results, insights, and actionable recommendations effectively.
- Provide retrospective analysis on projects, collaborate with Product Management and Finance to provide metrics input, and assist in quantifying sales drivers from technology enhancements.
- Collaborate with Marketing Systems to identify reporting requirements for new site functionality and assist in creating specifications for technology teams to implement correct analytics code.
- Utilize analytics tools to address business inquiries and present findings to key decision-makers.
- Produce ad hoc analysis as requested by internal customer teams.
- Develop and publish reports and dashboards for internal customers.
- Demonstrate full understanding and application of digital analytics tools to achieve business objectives.
- Partner with technology teams to utilize in-house and third-party analytic tools effectively.
- Assist in managing and documenting web analytics projects.
- Support and train internal users on digital analytics tools.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in digital analytics and e-commerce.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 1-2 years of direct experience.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL/GBQ queries.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.

Job Overview
The Product Analyst is a member of the Analytics Team which empowers macys.com with analytic insights to support planning, tactical execution, and optimizing the customer experience. They support Product Management, User Experience, & Technology teams with reporting and analysis, delivering crucial business intelligence. The analyst presents actionable insights to aid decision-makers and assists Macys.com’s A/B and multivariate testing programs. This involves designing and analyzing experiments in collaboration with internal clients like Marketing and Merchandising, as well as technology partners. The role requires multitasking through various project stages and delivering quality insights and recommendations regularly to drive business growth. Other duties as assigned.What You Will Do
