      Job Description

      Visa is seeking a Product Analyst, who has a desire to shape the future of payment products. The selected candidate will join the Policy and Programs team that is responsible for forming and implementing buyer and seller strategies and policies globally. Within this team, the position will be focused on new sector growth, consisting of creating new products, services and policies in newly developing segments, such as gambling, lottery and lending.

      The Analyst will play a vital role in contributing to the success of growing these payment segments. The candidate will collaborate across the organization to problem-solve and understand consumer behavior driving payment decisions. After developing a clear position on the issues, the candidate will solution and identify economic or new product opportunities to generate new acceptance for Visa.

      Essential Functions

      • Coordinate with team lead on developing policies, strategies and products to further support Visa acceptance in new segments
      • Collaborate with product managers, sales and business development teams managing strategic industry partners, including building relationships with key clients to identify opportunities and pain points
      • Become an expert in specific new segments, including monitoring trends, the competitive landscape and segment growth to determine strategic recommendations
      • Deliver presentations to key clients and internal stakeholders on policy and product changes
      • Create communications and partner with marketing teams on best practices documents, sales collateral and other customer-facing materials
      • Proficiently use Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
      • Demonstrate the ability to learn independently, quickly mastering new skills related to payment products.
      • Communicate effectively with various teams across Visa and present key insights and reports to leadership for informed decision-making.

      This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications

      • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
      • 3 to 5 years of work experience in either payment processing or data analysis, or over 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
      • Previous experience within a global financial services firm, particularly with a focus on payment processing/product development, is beneficial.
      • Ability to identify, tackle, and articulate complex business challenges through detailed analysis, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
      • Experience in managing multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment is advantageous.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills are valued.
      • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple disparate projects in parallel

      Additional Information

      Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

      Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

      Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

      Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

      U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
