      We are currently looking for a Product Cost Engineer (f/m/d) for our location in Siegen, Germany

      As a Product Cost Engineer (f/m/d) you will be responsible for the c alculation and estimation of technical costs of parts and subsystems produced in Siegen ( Bogies & Drives ) and you will have the chance to make an impact in the sustainable future transportation

      Responsibilities

      • Calculation and estimation of technical costs of parts and subsystems for Bogies & Drives by using an appropriate tool
      • Identification and evaluation of cost reduction potentials for parts and processes within the engineering environment

      • Support of the engineering team in the "design to cost" way of working
      • Attendance & support of cost down workshops
      • Support sourcing team in negotiation with the suppliers

      Knowledge & Experience

      • B. Sc. or M. Sc. degree or Technician with engineering background

      • Advanced MS-Office skills (especially Excel and Powerpoint)

      • Basic understanding of economics

      • Fluent in English

      • Good industrial process knowledge

      • Collaborative, diligent and detail oriented attitude with good communication skills

      • Familiar with Cost Engineering and its tools (aPriori, Costimator, etc.) desirable
