      As a Product Cybersecurity Engineering within the R&D team in New Kensington you are the central responsible for all security topics in close alignment with responsible Cybersecurity Officer.

      Your tasks and responsibilities
      • You implement cybersecurity measures which are relevant for product development, their engineering and manufacturing as well as manufacturing equipment ( e. .g machines and devices, IPCs, PC, PLC and network equipment) accordantly to cybersecurity regulations and policies. Furthermore, you supervise current implementation states of each security measure continuously.
      • You apply your knowledge to embed cybersecurity in the product including secure coding, development of security mechanisms (i.e. boot sequence, chain of trust, firewall, OTA updates).
      • You are responsible to identify and ensure relevant cybersecurity industry standards and directives are met and routinely updated or audited.
      • You supervise project progress regarding security and support the corresponding project leaders.
      • You will carry out technical security analysis as part of the cybersecurity solution development.
      • You identify cybersecurity risks and threats and advice impacted product experts regarding cybersecurity. You will work closely with the Product Compliance and Testing department to ensure the solutions identified are testable, sustainable and able to be produced in serial manufacturing.
      • You cultivate knowledge transfer between R&D projects and cybersecurity authorities of other global R&D locations.
      Your qualifications and experience
      • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in computer science, IT or related subject area. Advanced Degree Preferred
      • Minimum 5+ years experience in automation technology and/or extended know how regarding security (IT infrastructure, information security, security testing, end point protection, secure network devices).
      • Hands-on experience with project management, systems engineering, embedded architecture, and/or design process on sophisticated topics with ability to communicate them clearly to the local management.
      • Experience with standards IEC 62443 / NERC-CIP / NIST or ISO 27001
      • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT equipment.
      • Experience in software code quality and process.
      • Certification as CISSP or comparable is a plus
      • Knowledge of qualification and onboarding of IT/OT equipment in a manufacturing facility is an advantage but not mandatory.
