The Opportunity:
Kantata is seeking a Product Designer to play a key role in the Kantata SX Product Management team This team is responsible for managing the roadmap of change for the SX product portfolio, this includes analysing new requirements, preparing high level user stories and delivering value assessments to drive prioritisation. This role requires lots of collaboration with our product managers, content design and engineering teams to design application pages, workflow and content for new features and solutions on a regular basis and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for ensuring the design is innovative, on brand in a compelling way focussing on usability and ease.
Your role includes liaising with our product teams to ensure designs are complete, easy to follow and accessible for end users . You will take a lead application page and workflow design during the product development cycle , and ensure consistency and clarity within the product reporting to the Head of Design and the VP Product Management for Kantata SX, you will ensure existing processes are followed and contribute to improvements in the way we work as our processes and technology evolve.
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Designer with a background in enterprise SaaS solutions, with a passion for technology, eager to engage deeply with our customers and stakeholders to contribute hands-on, bringing problem-solving and creative skills to deliver measurable results and foster innovation.
Primary Responsibilities :
User Research & Personas: Ability to conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to inform design decisions.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
User Roles & Permissions: Crafting experiences that reflect complex access control and role-based interfaces.
Front-End Understanding and UX / UI design: demonstrates passion and proficiency in creating pages and user work flow that balances visual appeal and usability across enterprise features
Visual Design: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and brand consistency, structuring complex features and workflow in a way that’s intuitive and scalable
Design Systems: Ability to create and maintain scalable design systems for consistency across products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with PMs, engineers, QA, and marketing teams to align product vision and execution.
Customization vs. Configurability: Understanding where to allow user-level customization vs. system-wide configuration, balancing flexibility and scalability.
Scalability Mindset: Thinking in terms of systems that must support large, global organizations with thousands of users and complex org hierarchies.
Storytelling: Communicating design decisions using usage metrics, user feedback, and stakeholder narratives.

Strong creative and design skills, able to translate complex customer requirements into designs and flows
Strong demonstration skills, ability to tell a compelling story and explain design theories to ensure users and associated teams understand
Strong understanding of software from a usability, functional and benefits perspective
Ability to pick up new technology and functional concepts quickly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional Services domain knowledge - experience in and a high-level understanding of the processes and challenges faced by Professional Services and Embedded Services organizations
Experience working with Salesforce in a technical or administration capacity
Ideally, this candidate will have strong PSA knowledge
