Providing clear production assembly and test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production. These instructions include formal work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos and electronic historical record (EHR) entries.

Supporting the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department

Assuring and maintaining product integrity

Tracking and improving key company and department metrics

Providing direction and resolving issues via emails or other Moog processes

Supporting evening and early morning teleconferences with the overseas Production Center, approximately two per week

Travel overseas 2-3 times per year for up to three weeks per trip

Product Engineers must periodically work additional hours to support program goals and product demand - overtime pay is available

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1+ year of relevant technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related program

A Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted

Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group is hiring a Product Engineer for an onsite role in East Aurora, NY.
As Product Engineer, you will support aircraft production programs both at the Design Center and the Production Center. Reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support to specific product lines and provide technical guidance to assembly and test personnel, or others in need of your product knowledge.
The Product Engineer gets direction from more experienced Product Engineer team members when needed to support assembly and test operations, but will work independently as well. In some circumstances, the Product Engineer will take a leadership role for special projects.
The Product Engineer supports all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and product delivery in several ways, including but not limited to:

The base pay range for this opportunity is $66,955 - $123,635 per year
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
