Regularly refine and prioritize the product backlog with the product analyst and others.
Ensure alignment with the product vision and objectives set by the business.
Authoring and management of stories, spikes, and other workitems that are processed by the teams.
For each backlog item, ensure sizing, define clear acceptance criteria, and ensuring the output aligns with expected quality.
Using the well managed backlog, prepare the teams for the upcoming sprint planning sessions by reviewing expected stories for the sprint.
provide answer for clarification, seek answers for clarification, and update stories and their acceptance criteria based on story review.
Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master and development team, breaking down features into user stories, and ensuring each sprint delivers optimum value.
Ensure product related questions are addressed and support the overall teams goals for deliverying the product increment.
Provide assistance to/for UXD and HCD questions and guidance that optimizes the experience for our users.
Participate in daily scrum meetings, discussing progress, addressing roadblocks, and aligning day-to-day plans and activities.
Be first point contact for product oriented questions (what and why).
Take timely actions to remove product oriented roadblocks to enable the teams to deliver.
Act in collaboration with the Product Analyst to liason with stakeholders, including developers, designers, internal service teams, end-users, and global teams in development, operations, and sales.
Consistently gather, clarify, and prioritize product and customer requirements.
Engage in regular product demonstrations, gather internal/external feedback, and iterate upon the product based on insights.
Coordinate with line managers to oversee outputs of remote and global teams, emphasizing clear communication and fostering a trust-filled collaborative environment.
Drive enhancements in the agile process by actively participating in retrospectives and implementing feedback.
Provide regular updates and reports to product development leadership, ensuring visibility of the product’s progress and any challenges faced.
Reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to the therapeutic team
Leading in the development of team SOPs, QRGs, and Work Instructions.
Working with internal staff to resolve issues
Helping others to achieve results
Performing other duties as assigned
Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training
Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and applicable technology
Regularly research and stay updated on the latest trends in the medical life sciences software space, ensuring our products remain cutting-edge.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. In place of a degree, equivalent work experience of 3+ years
Demonstrated experience in software development utilizing the Scrum Framework.
Demonstrated experience in story (requirements) solication, authoring, and management
Demonstrated experience in facilitatiing requirements elaboration sessions and rapid design sessions with teams.
Experience identifying, elaborating on, and troubleshooting software features, functions, and problems.
Experience working with computer software including the MS Office suite, JIRA, Github and other product development tools.
Ability to work in group setting and independently
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks to meet established schedules, timelines, or deadlines
Problem solving abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent attention to detail and meticulous work
