      Job Summary:

      The Product Engineer intern will learn the facets of product design, be responsible for assisting in testing new products for development phase during characterization. They will maintain support of products and components used during characterization and learn how to create reports from data they have collected. They will learn how we manage our manufacturing, safety, quality, compliance, cost, and marketing objectives.

      Responsibilities:

      • Perform sampling, product testing and documentation including the writing of product performance specifications, test plans for characterizations and product performance reports.
      • Prepare product characterization plans and coordinate with technicians to complete performance tests.
      • Assist in product correlation, repeatability and limits setting in collaboration with Test Engineering.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Electrical Engineering major.
      • Some understanding of working theory of semiconductor devices.
      • Some understanding of electrical circuits and Analog / Digital IC. Understanding of testing methodologies incorporated with high volume production techniques and requirements a plus.
      • Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills with the ability to proactively solve issues.
      • Familiar with different lab instruments and testers.
      • Quick learner of new technical skills including new instruments and software.
      • Effective verbal and written communication to interface at all levels within the organization.
      • Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule.
      • Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams. Involves some cross-function meetings with different time zones.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project.
