Job Description
- Req#: 276299
- Management/Ownership of the assigned product line portfolio with guidance from the Product Manager.
- Supports the Sales Team with Key Account closes by completion of the RFQ standard business process. Day to day part configuration of current/new products by means of bill of material management. Evaluating data to help set product pricing/profit margin to capture maximum value on new and existing products.
- Leads product development from ideation to launch by collaboratively working with the Product Engineering team, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to increase productivity and drive out costs while maintaining good quality.
- Continuously update Product Development tracking files to ensure development cycle is on schedule; including Costing, Materials Management, Prototype, & Shipping/Receiving Detail.
- Work with Product Engineers to update intercompany CAD/DWG files in comparison to Customer drawings throughout the development cycle to reflect on-going revisions.
- Work in partnership with Plant Production Staff to ensure timely delivery of sales orders to meet customer expectations.
- Guarantees that customer product information is to date per Key Customer Account (Customer Part Numbers, Names/Descriptions, Costing, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 2 years’ experience performing the same or similar job duties
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Interpersonal communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
