      Activities :

      As Product Line Engineer (PLE), you will manage the technical content of acquisition phase and provide support in technical choices during development phase. Your main tasks will be to:

      • Manage the OEM & internal technical interfaces such as to collect and analyse customer needs, obtaining and coordinating technical inputs from internal expertise fields in order to make a competitive offer
      • Challenging product conception and looking for opportunities to introduce innovative solutions
      • Ensure application of PO-internal standards and best practice solutions
      • Generate the bill of material for the quotation file and build the technical file summarizing all relevant product assumptions with the support of all the acquisition team
      • Present technical file internally and to the customer
      • Provide technical support and analysis in development phase and follow the Optimap project management procedures
      • Support product concept maturation and extract design standards to complete design guide lines for future projects
      • Participate to Product Lines deployments and consolidation (via networks and developments)

      Competencies & Requirements

      • University degree (mechanical / plastics/ vehicle engineering field)
      • advanced English/German level is a must
      • up to 3 years experience in automotive
      • First experience in one of the fields: plastic parts design or processes and/or injection molding, 3D part design, material validation
      • Ability to work in an intercultural environment
      • Driving License Class B, willingness to travel
