  KarmaCheck is a technology startup based out of San Francisco and founded by one of the pioneers of the internet industry, Eric Ly, who was a Co-founder and CTO at LinkedIn. We’re on a mission to bring truth to the internet by enabling digital identity verification in a new way.   We’re in hyper-growth, building and scaling a business to disrupt the antiquated background check industry, delivering comprehensive solutions to healthcare credentialing, and innovating in the area of digital identity.

  
  

  We’re looking for a dedicated product person to design complex information technology systems that process background checks, verifications, credentials, and related company offerings utilizing the newest technologies to create a competitive advantage. The right person can bring passion, drive, and innovation with an ownership mindset to a fast moving market. This position offers the unique opportunity to have a dramatic impact on the success of KarmaCheck by setting and articulating strategy and vision, then driving implementation and roll out of key initiatives and products.

  
  

  You will be working closely with cross-functional teams and our lead developers to: (1) help us build, scale, and take our product to market for both mid-market and enterprise customers and/or newly identified markets, and (2) develop an incredibly successful long-term career at KarmaCheck in Product, Delivery/Operations, or beyond.

  
  

  What you'll do:

  • Lead product development implementations from beginning to end; customer/GTM requirements collection, technical and UX specifications, refine architecture and details with developers and stakeholders, design data driven success metrics, and guide the development and roll out process
  • Utilize deep knowledge and experience in digital systems to drive product ideation and development
  • Own specific initiatives by defining strategy and vision based on stakeholder input and market dynamics, take that vision and inspire others to create and deliver the best product(s) on the market
  • Create and document new processes and structures for the company/product to scale successfully
  • Create and run SQL or similar reporting queries for data analysis, customer reporting, and internal requests
  • Work as a trusted partner and leader to internal teams, including developers, architects, quality assurance, sales, customer success, delivery, and research.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the background check industry, healthcare staffing, and vendor offerings
  • Provide product training for internal and customer audiences, partner with GTM teams on their efforts
  • Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, create custom reports, evaluate experiments, etc.

  Requirements:

  • BS/BA at a 4-year accredited college: preferably technology or business degree, or equivalent life experience
  • 3+ years of relevant professional work experience
  • Familiarity with product and development process in a fast moving technology company

  • You love connecting with people via video online, on the phone, chat tools, and over-communicate to compensate for the remote/digital world in which we work

  • The expected total compensation for this role is between 125,000 - 155,000 for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include location of work, seniority level, experience level, transferable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
