As a Product Manager you will oversee the development of collections for a family of products, negotiating terms and prices with the different
suppliers and coordinating with the designer and other involved Areas/Departments, in order to ensure the collection is developed according to the
production requirements and respecting the established objectives of time, cost and quality.
Key Responsabilities:
Collection developmentIn collaboration with the Designer, work on the collection development for the family of products under his/her responsibility, by performing different activities with providers at all stages of the process (e.g. sending design templates and calendars, samples, monitoring the realization of prototypes, etc.), ensuring alignment with the Product Category deadlines and costs.
Sales KPIs analysis & market research
Analyse the overall situation of sales and product related KPI's for the assigned category/channel/POS (e.g. sales and stocks, best sellers, etc.), in order to track its evolution, detect deviations and look for new ideas that can be implemented.
Undertake market research, understanding the context, and getting information about key competitors, in order to position the product in the different markets where Desigual has presence.
Management of providers
Perform visits to providers, negotiate prices and lead times, manage the sourcing process, register and track the purchasing orders (including repeat orders) and the supplier's service provided, taking into account delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment, as well as maintaining frequent communication with them, in order to inform about any issue related with the selling process or product performance indicators. Coordinate with the involved Areas/Departments for the proper performance of this function (e.g. Supply Chain).
Collection presentation
Provide support to the channels, by participating in the organization of collection presentations and specific conventions/events.
