Responsible for shaping the vision and design for a long-term road map of the Customer & Marketing Analytics Platform.
Work with Data Product Owners, Business unit stakeholders, Architecture and Data teams at the intersection of the Analytics community and Technology, to design a connected eco-system of data platform products.
Analyse our current data platforms and the state of upstream providers and downstream consumers to contribute to an optimized future state strategy to drive our data transformation.
Evangelise the analytics platform capability (data, tools, adoption) across the wider business so that everyone can get the data they need.
Champion the power of data for decision making. Ensure that Aviva data platforms are fit for purpose and can scale to meet our innovation needs.
Carefully consider data management on the platform, covering the data lifecycle from ingestion to end user consumption. Starting with Group policies, define the implementation standards, requirements and solutions for data quality, security, access, retention, and risk.
Assess technologies to stay at the forefront of data usage and continually improve the Aviva data ecosystem. Foster relationships with data vendors and technology partners.
Partner with our businesses and Technology to agree on the priorities for efficient delivery, aligning on shared objectives.
Define the backlog of activities that are required to deliver data and tooling solutions within an agile framework, working with solution architects and technicians.
Proven experience with big data technology implementations and related architectures.
Highly experienced at solving business problems through data-led technology solutions, working with diverse cross-functional teams.
Have experience of working in product teams and owning the definition of and delivery of requirements.
Experience working in a multi-market environment and be confident in understanding and articulating the needs of different stakeholders, and leading cross-market groups to a consensus or recommendation.
Great consultative and communication skills required to work with stakeholders and appropriately influence, understand, and resolve capability gaps.
National Salary Circa £68,000, London Salary Circa £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Product Manager C&M Data Analytics Platform – National Salary Circa £68,000, London Salary Circa £90,000.
We are transforming our core capabilities to deliver exceptional customer experiences and enablement of data and analytics is recognized as a strategic driver of change. Therefore, we are recruiting for a Product Manager C&M Analytics Platform to join the Data office within Aviva.
The Product Manager will own the vision and strategy to drive a state-of-the-art implementation of a modern Analytics Platform capability for Customer and Marketing (C&M), to maximise Aviva’s value from data and accelerate our journey towards enterprise-centric data platforms.
The role will work across the organization to collaborate with senior data leaders, engineers, data and platform architects and business users. The mission is to help shape a Group data strategy that facilitates self-serve data insights and unlocks data analysts to address complex business questions.
