      Salary:


      FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

      Your areas of Responsibility:

      The Product Manager- Industrial will oversee product line development activities for specialty lubricants used in specific metal pro-cessing industries such as cleaners, corrosion preventatives, quenchants and other demanding lubricant applications. Specific responsibilities will include:

      • Developing a strong understanding of the market conditions in order to prioritize opportunities to achieve growth objectives in market share and profitability.
      • Directing new product development projects with the R&D Department.
      • Interfacing directly with customers to better understand their needs and to gain product approvals.
      • Identifing prospective customers and positioning the Company and its products within their market.
      • Contributing content for new product launch and product marketing activities..
      • Providing sales support.
      • Application know how (product recommendations, business development assistance, technical problem solving, product training to customers and company sales representatives)
      • Supporting strategic business development efforts related to sales campaigns.
      • Acting as a technical advisor and liaison to the lab.
      • Expected Travel - 30% to 40%, mainly within the US.

      Qualifications we are looking for:

      • A Bachelor's degree is required. Degrees in a technical discipline such as Chemistry or Engineering is preferred.
      • At least five years of experience working with lubricants in roles such as product development, formulation and laboratory work. Experience in field service, technical sales and industrial marketing is a plus.
      • Knowledge of lubricant application, use, and maintenance in the product space.
      • The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions with good judgment, think strategically to identify opportunities, and lead initiatives within a self-directed project team.
      • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
