- Tells the story of the product both internally and externally; determine the ideal design, and works to develop and deploy the capability for the market
- Drive business work within the Agile process, sharing Business vision
- Define and prioritize Features that will be groomed and developed by Product Development teams
- Own the product at a Feature level, using Roadmap and Capabilities as a guide
- Work with Product Owners to ensure user story alignment across multiple agile teams
- Own relationship with Functional Area SMEs. Conduct discovery on potential capabilities, quickly assessing the capabilities needed for desired outcomes
- Identifies potential issues and pro-actively develops mitigation plans; Assists in removing obstacles, resolves conflicts and ensures alignment
- Fluent with commonly used EDI concepts, practices, and procedures within heath care field
- Experience gathering and writing business requirements
- Proven experience influencing without authority with different matrixed business partners
- Understanding on HIPAA/EDI X12 healthcare-related transactions
- Knowledge of Healthcare claims and clinical processes such as Prior Auth and Referrals
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing solutions across multiple areas
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience collaborating with development/engineering teams
- Experience in product management/product development/strategy management
- Experience with analytics tracking and reporting tool(s)
- Understanding of the product lifecycle process and experience working with agile software delivery tools (CA Agile, Jira, Rally, Aha! etc.)

As a Product Manager, you will serve as a bridge across products and clients while working closely with the Architect & Development Team, key customer stakeholders, subject matter experts and support teams.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
