- Achievement of the maximum potential for the brand and ensuring that the life cycle of the brand is optimised
- Development of the annual strategic brand plan, liaising with key internal stakeholders to ensure input to and buy-in of the plan, to optimize achievement of plan.
- Develop and implement the sales activation plan incorporating regional differences when appropriate; supporting the regional business teams to understand the potential and strategic direction for the brand in their region
- Participate in and evaluate market research and analysis, promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands or products; assessing their success against plan
- Responsible for all financial aspects of the brand including:
- Forecasting and stock management
- Budget management
- ROI of major spends
- May be asked to provide feedback on the Performance and development of the oncology Marketing coordinator
- University degree in Business / Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience preferred, field experience an asset
- Pharma experience is desired. Strong project management skills
- Customer-centric decision making and mindset and project execution based on customer insights
- Adept to agile ways of working, including creation of digital content and tools
- Adept at working in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment
- Build trust, promote openness and establish mutual understanding across functions with people. Strength in conflict management
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical skills

Product Manager Oncology
Bayer Inc.’s Pharmaceutical division is undergoing a major transformation in our operating model and customer engagement approach to better serve our patients and customers and achieve ‘Health for All’. Reporting to the Head of Product and Operations the product manager will be responsible for the success of their brand. This includes being a key member of the cross-functional squad and supporting the 90-day strategic direction for the brand. They should have a strong understanding the therapeutic area, the customers’ needs, patient journey and the regional differences that may exist for the brand potential and the drivers of brand success. They will work collaboratively with members of the product squad and customer squads. The Product Manager is accountable to the overall financial spends and sales for the brand and ensuring that the brand reaches its profitability goals. The Product Manager may work closely with a marketing coordinator to assist with project management and achieving brand success.
