- 5-7 years' experience in steel service sales
- Strong understanding of customer requirements & market dynamics.
- Computer Literacy required.
- Travel required both in vehicle and air travel as needed.
- Develops & executes strategic business plan to drive growth in revenue and profitability.
- Develops and implements specific marketing and sales plans consistent with the growth and profitability goals for products.
- Assesses market competition by comparing company's products to competitor's products.
- Assesses product market by calling on customers' and evaluating sales call results.
- Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales & production.
- Determines product pricing by reviewing production & sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special & customized production.

Philadelphia PA -- Product Manager
Metals USA is seeking a Product Manager in Northeast Philadelphia PA. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon steel (plate, beam and tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries.
The Product Manager is responsible to develop market strategies, identify customers' potential products, conduct market research, and determine customer specifications along with production timetables and pricing. Co-manages a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans & strategies to expand the customer base in the market.
