      Job Description

      Product Managers at VillageMD are seen as key leaders within the Technology organization. They have ultimate accountability for the products they own and are responsible for forging their own path through a complex organization to achieved desired business outcomes. They are expected to form trusted relationships with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders and must be able to influence peers and executives through a combination of data and storytelling.

      What are examples of work that Product Managers have done at VillageMD?

      • Launch a new product in the value-based care space; take ownership of product success or failure
      • Own the roadmap and backlog for multiple complex, inter-connected products
      • Lead design sessions with clinical end users and map operational best practices to technical workflows
      • Oversee design, development and release for a feature that integrates several disparate applications

      What you might do in your first year:

      • Create and maintain a roadmap for VBC products related to Risk & Quality
      • Lead agile cadences such as standups, sprint planning, and retros for a team of engineers
      • Work with a diverse set of customers and stakeholders to prioritize requests, keeping the best interests of the business in mind
      • Implement dozens of new features across several products and platforms, taking responsibility for a successful release and user adoption
      • Conduct build/buy analysis for a key product need; engage deeply with vendors on current and planned functionality
      • Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate impact of newly released technology

      The following experience is relevant to us:

      Required

      • 3+ years technical product management or other related work
      • Experience building or operating value-based care workflows, particularly HCC risk adjustment & HEDIS
      • Professional experience with the outpatient healthcare system, including exposure to clinicals & revenue cycle
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to convey complex technical details in meaningful business context
      • Experience building business workflows both theoretically (documenting, reviewing and building) and practically (measurement, implementation and support).

      Preferred

      • Experience in analysis and implementation of clinical and financial healthcare data
      • Experience in or willingness to learn analytics tools such as Tableau, advanced Excel, or SQL
      • Configuration experience of large enterprise solutions (Salesforce, Five9, Workday, Epic, etc.)
      • BS/MS in related fields

      This is an exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
