      What You’ll Be Doing

      You will work within the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, supporting the Director Credit Products and VP in achieving business objectives, and managing the relationship with various partners throughout the bank for all facets of the product relationship. You will also assist in development and implementation of proposals for Employee Share Purchase and Partner Capital Loan Programs (ESPP/PCL) products for Commercial and Corporate Banking clients of CIBC, and projects that will build the business and optimize profitability, efficiency, growth and improve the client experience.

      How You’ll Succeed

      • Product Management. Assist in the development of client proposals and analyze product opportunities. Focusing on maximizing market share, profitability and cross-selling of CIBC products through collection of revenue and regular competitive reviews. Preparation and compilation of monthly Employee Share Purchase Programs and Partner Capital Loan reports for Commercial Banking and Internal partners. Manage ESPP and PCL sites inclusive of program offers and updates required and publish new offers on Knowledge Central. Preparation of training material, loan notes for new and existing ESPP and PCL programs.. Assist in training Lenders on Employee Share Purchase and Partner Capital loan Programs and monitoring and follow up on annual loan funding programs. Manage and update the credit risk tracker. Manage all inquiries and escalations received through the product mailbox in a timely manner. Provide marketing and communications support on products, features & services collateral, including product positioning & ensuring that product content is up-to-date.
      • Collaboration. Provide ongoing, high-quality support to our internal sales and service partners. Participation in meetings with Commercial Banking Relationship and Private Banking Managers, General Managers, Banking Center Leaders, Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor Business in Retail Banking across Canada. Formalizing documentation and programs for new ESPP and PCL programs with engagement from key CIBC Stakeholders from Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Private and Commercial Banking.
      • Project Management & Continuous Improvement. Support execution of projects including responsibilities for supporting key stakeholders in the analysis, development and implementation of projects and project related work packages particularly related to Employee Share Purchase and Partner Capital Loan Programs products. Provide input into, and recommendations regarding, the ongoing improvement of sales capabilities and CIBC’s channel distribution effectiveness. This includes the development and management of internal sales support programs and communications.

      Who You Are

      • You have a degree in Business Administration or Commerce, or related discipline OR equivalent business experience. Prior experience in Retail Banking Centre and Retail Adjudication is preferred.
      • You have a strong affinity for product management and product development . You want to build product experience in Employee Share Purchase and Partner Capital Loan Programs Products and are excited about launching new innovative products to market.
