- In conjunction with project management teams, manage multiple product development projects simultaneously
- Work with matrix partners across businesses and functional groups to translate required capabilities into concrete operational processes and measurement plans
- Aligns capabilities to business strategies and translates into requirements for engineering teams
- Validate requirements with businesses and engages with target users to test and iterate on client experience to confirm desired outcome
- Produce business, research, or clinical intelligence for key stakeholders
- Distribute data to key stakeholders on a routine basis
- Support data product development initiatives
- Support financial and capital expenditures
- Maintain awareness of broad market trends, with deep understanding of relevant business and/or product strategies and related use cases
- Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of capability
- Evaluate utility of reporting methods and visual representations frequently in order to most effectively communicate through data
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Produce monthly metrics reporting at the end of each month at necessary intervals
- Highlight operational trends to management supporting strategy for remediation if needed
- Project manage to develop and define project scope and support the strategy with evidence
- Work with others to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
- Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a complex matrixed work environment with competing priorities
- 5+ years of solid executive communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
- 5+ years of excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- 5+ years of ability to gain acceptance for ideas, plans, actions and then implement across organizational boundaries
- 5+ years of experience working with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
- 2+ years of experience managing projects
- 2+ years of advanced Excel (or equivalent) experience working with reporting and data analysis
- Experience working at a Third-Party Administrator
- UMR experience
- Utilization Management and/or Affordability product initiative experience
- End to End clinical to claims experience
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Excellent Microsoft Excel or similar program skills
- Microsoft Visio skills
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze, QA, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently, managing time and priorities, and meet scheduled deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others

This position is responsible for supporting UMR UM product development and total cost of care initiatives, reporting to the UMR Customer Solutions, Vice President Product, UM. Clinical performance is charged with effectively implementing, monitoring, and executing on programs related to driving affordability and measuring outcomes across the UMR Third Party Administration business.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
