      Job Description

      TEL is currently recruiting for a Product Marketing Engineer who is passionate about innovation and SPE (semiconductor production equipment) wafer cleaning technology.

      We’re a growing team focused on accelerating TEL’s impact in the leading-edge wafer cleaning systems market , as well as providing promotion support of legacy technologies in the MAGIC market (Metaverse, Autonomous mobility, Green energy, IoT/information, and Communications)

      Hybrid position, with approximately 25% domestic and international travel.

      Responsibilities:

      • E ngage closely with Albany-based consortia and customers to understand and anticipate wafer cleaning requirements for future device structures , and feed back to internal development teams

      • Stay up-to-date on market research, competitor activity, and customer roadmaps

      • Function as the cleaning process knowledge/product expert for existing and next-generation technology

      • Maintain close communication with colleagues in Japan to assist with NPI (New Product Introduction)

      • Revise and share general presentation materials , focusing on the needs of US region customers

      • C onduct regular TRM’s (Technology Review Meeting) to align roadmaps, understand the VOC (Voice of the Customer), and promote potential solutions in alignment with Sales strategy

      • S upport customer demos and evaluations as needed

      • Build relationships with strategic customer and industry contacts

      • Primarily responsible for East Region customers ; may be asked to support West Region if needed

      • Attend and/or prepare reports for key t echnical c onferences as applicable (i.e. UCPSS, SPCC, ECS, imec PTW)

      • Support Strategic S egment Marketing analysis efforts, focused on the MAGIC market

      Preferred Experience:

      • Expertise in leading-edge wafer cleaning systems process knowledge, focusing on chemistry

        Strong track record of understanding SPE customer HVP (High Value Problems), and identifying potential solutions to support customer success

      • Background operating comfortably in an SPE supplier research & development environment with a focus on commercialization

      • Strong communication and technical presentation skills to interact effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders of varying technical knowledge, organizational levels, and cultural backgrounds

      • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills to network effectively with multiple customers and industry partners

      • Proactive self-starter with the ability to multi-task, influence, and build consensus within an international, cross-functional team

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • SPE wafer cleaning process knowledge

      • 8 years applicable experience

      • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or related field

      • Ability to travel both Domestic/ International, approximately 25%

      The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.

      Salary Ranges

      $134,238.91 - $176,630.09

      Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
