Role Description We are currently seeking a software product owner to join our growing team. The product owner drives the vision for the custom application that is to be built and maintained. He serves as functional expert for the application. Responsibilities Create, Plan and prioritize detailed product requirements and backlog based on the product vision and product strategy Break down of epics/features into user stories in discussion with product management to enable incremental value delivery Ensure the scrum team(s) have a prioritized and estimated backlog according to business priorities Ensure the scrum team(s) fully understands the content and the business value of the user story Review test scenarios written for user stories by peers. Highlight any impediments for scrum team(s) delivery Work with other Stakeholders to manage cross-product dependencies and risk Represent technology gaps and suggest appropriate enablers as suggested by scrum team(s) and architects Represent the scrum team in Product Management forums such as planning and product visioning meetings, standups, sprint demo, retrospective etc. Suggest deployment scope from scrum team deliverables Should be familiar with web technologies like ASP.NET, Java, Javascript, JQuery, CSS etc and mobile technologies or any proprietary low code platform like OutSystems The Product Owner’s Qualification 6+ years of proven work experience in software development. Minimum 3+ years of experience as a product owner. Should have worked on custom application (web + mobile) development projects in Agile and Iterative methodologies Good knowledge of different BA tools/techniques like Use Cases, User Epics/Stories, Data Modelling, Information Architecture, Process Flows, Visio, JIRA Product development experience with expertise on product conceptualization, planning, management, marketing will be preferable. Understanding and experience of Software life cycle & software test methodologies Excellent Stakeholder Management skills - Ability to work closely with Business, Technical and Partner teams Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, presentation, and leadership skills Qualifications Role Description We are currently seeking a software product owner to join our growing team.
