What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate stories and acceptance criteria for the feature backlog
- Conduct story refinement/grooming sessions with development and QA teams
- Define value for product deliverables and communicate to the team
- Order backlog items based on priority from the Product Manager
- Lead design sprints to identify market and customer opportunities
- Accept/reject delivered work from each Sprint
- Communicate portfolio and project updates to managers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with peer Product Owners on cross-team dependencies
- Participate in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning
- Continuously prioritize business and customer requests for release planning
- Develop product expertise for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to product decisions based on understanding of target market and user base
- Recommend additional products and capabilities to enhance the product line
- Triage and resolve product issues with development teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience facilitating product feature or requirements development
- 1-3 years of experience in an Agile, Scaled Agile, or Scrum development environment
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business intelligence tools
- Ability to learn new applications
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment
- Understanding of IT landscape and limitations/possibilities
- Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience as a Product Owner in healthcare technology
