- Acts as the guardian of the product vision throughout all phases of the product life.
- Understands business processes and systems as well as master the different data flows.
- Manages the problems and the performance of the systems and finds the source of the problem or be able to use the tools offered to find a solution.
- In charge of monthly Oracle application release by reviewing release notes, analyse impacts, test changes and coordinate production deployment.
- Participate in day-to-day data management activities relating to chart of account and reference data change requests, approvals, execution, and reconciliation in preparation for month-end.
- Maintain proper documentations to reflect current solution design specifications.
- In charge of EDMCS configuration subject but not limited to registering applications, creating, and maintaining note types/properties/hierarchy sets/node sets/viewpoints, configuring converters/subscriptions/validations and security roles.
- Acts as the resource person for the project delivery team of EDMCS by coordinating design sessions with data management and business teams.
- Prioritizes tasks, and changes, and participates in the configuration, established tests, documents the results, and facilitates the work of businesspeople.
- Collects, analyzes, and quantifies data to validate integrity and accuracy according to different systems and sources.
- Collaborates with internal and external auditors on the processes and controls carried out on the applications as an administrator.
- Learns about Oracle Fusion suite products and becomes the expert in cloud financial applications for the Intact finance community.
- May discover and propose new ideas or designs and develop concepts to improve EPM Cloud tools strategically.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, computer systems management or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience of EPM Oracle Fusion systems is a major asset.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and corporate finance. CPA or CFA designation is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of the MS Excel tool.
- Experience in the world of insurance.
- Experience with 52-109/SOX controls.
- Experience working in a corporate finance team.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with large national scale projects.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
- [Bilingual (French and English)] Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country (asset).
- Demonstrate rigor and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze solutions and measure impacts.
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.

About the role
The EPM Cloud Finance team is looking for a Product Owner – Enterprise Data Management Cloud Solution (EDMCS)!
Under the supervision of the Manager EPM Cloud Finance, the Product Owner will be responsible for "End to End" of the financial solutions implemented and actively participating in the implementation and integration of multiple projects impacting cloud financial applications. More specifically, the financial applications from Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management of EDMCS.
In addition, the Product Owner will be actively involved in the financial transformation of Intact by participating in different phases of projects, in the configuration of the EDMCS EPM Cloud application, as well as its maintenance. The Product Owner will also have to support the various stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and propose strategies to find solutions to obstacles and contribute to the achievement of established business objectives by using his financial and technical knowledge.
