What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the assessment, selection, and implementation of Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Define and document PDM processes, data models, and governance frameworks
- Act as a trusted advisor, conducting workshops and gathering requirements
- Establish and enforce data governance policies for product information
- Provide hands-on support for PDM system configuration and troubleshooting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in PDM consulting, implementation, or administration
- In-depth knowledge of leading PDM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP PDM)
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and CAD systems integration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or high-tech industries
- Certifications in relevant PDM/PLM platforms
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and digital product development
- Exposure to cloud-based PDM/PLM solutions
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
