      JOB TITLE: Product Owner - Trade Execution Lab, Markets Platform

      LOCATION: London

      HOURS: Full time

      WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office hubs listed above

      About the opportunity

      Our Trade Execution Lab is one of five Labs in the Markets Platform and is responsible for three 'Products' (Services); Trade Management, Cash & Collateral Management and Trade Settlements. It is made up of Technicians, Software Engineers and Change Delivery Specialists who lead and deliver change in an iterative manner. The lab is Supporting the Markets Businesses in the Group, which Trades FX, Rates and Commodities products to help our Client manage their risk.

      As a Lab Product Owner you’ll be an inspiring leader who harvests a culture where colleagues are trusted, encouraged and supported to be bold! This is achieved by building a collaborative, empowered team, nurturing them to take ownership of the relevant outcomes, whilst stimulating innovation and mitigating risk by encouraging data driven test and learn activities.

      The role will work alongside the Lab Engineering Lead in shaping the vision for the team, you'll be accountable for delivering the Lab’s Outcomes and will require a unique combination of Business Transformation, Infrastructure delivery, Markets knowledge, Vendor/SI and cross team collaboration.

      • Ensure that the Team is working on the right set of Business Problems ("building the right things"), to credibly interface to the Business community and to relentlessly focus on delivering value for Lloyds and our customers.

      • Excellent communication, people management, influencing and presentation skills, as well as experience working with technical and multi-functional teams to deliver change

      • An inspiring, strategic problem solver with a passion for creating outstanding customer experiences

      • As the Product Owner you'll work in collaboration with your peer group Engineering Community to drive and embed agile ways of working, and support the prioritisation of modern engineering practices to achieve long term business outcomes.

      What we need from you...

      • Expert knowledge of Financial Markets technologies, solutions and techniques and their practical application, particularly governance, control and strategy

      • Experience of enhancing agile practices with a proven understanding of the end to end software development lifecycle and having worked heavily with software engineers in the past.

      • Have significant knowledge and experience of change management in large corporations

      • Previous Product Owner leadership experience, with ability to create an outstanding team environment that attracts and retains talent.
