      Why this job matters

      This role supports product development processes & projects throughout BT Group, with diverse routes for your career development - in fact the previous role holder was recently promoted into a new role.

      You'll be assisting in implementation of company product strategies, product management, user experience (UX), software engineering, and analysis across multiple product lines. This means you'll be kept engaged with a variety of responsibilities, and you'll interact with cross functional teams along the way broadening your product experience. You'll be relied on to design, manage, and deliver products with the portfolio that delivers value for Enterprise markets and drives business performance.

      You'll also have the support of Product Managers or Product Specialists on development for large-scale, complex, and/or solutions - so you'll always have someone to turn to for help as you develop in the role.

      What you’ll be doing

      • Maintain catalog and product options


      • Manage in-life product management and development


      • E2E management of smaller, less complex, or well-defined product/solution


      • Led the development of a single-product solution


      • Creates the Product Requirements Document and creates the business case where capex is required

      • Leads regular governance with 3rd party suppliers, manages relevant PO’s and invoices

      • Owns delivery and reporting of product margin improvement plans

      • Executing the component parts of the product set

      • Manages the interface with Customer Experience Design, Technology designers, and digital UX designers

      • Delivers device security and wi-fi capabilities enhancing the hub ecosystem to time/cost/quality, and own associated roadmap


      • Track monthly product performance and ensure security and regulatory compliance

      Skills required for the job

      • You are familiar with the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel & Powerpoint


      • You can take complex concepts and translate to different audiences

      • Able to use data to make & support decision making


      • You prioritise the customer experience and can demonstrate some commercial awareness


      • Taking ownership of problem solving
