Position Summary
A Product Reliability Specialist is responsible for developing test plans, organizing tests for engineering changes and new models based on effect and side effect risk analysis, and reporting test results in proper test report format.Role and Responsibilities
• Review and organize tests based on test plans within a lab environment and manage testing schedule to verify potential risk points.
• Escalate and perform root cause analysis when a failure is observed during a test.
• Assist in analyzing test results and submit test reports for review and approval.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Manage test equipment and tool maintenance; troubleshoot or find alternative solutions to resolve equipment trouble if any.
• All other duties as assigned.#LI-ONSITE
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
• Associate degree in any field of Engineering or any other related fields required. (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of QA testing experience in manufacturing industry required. (Laundry product experience preferred ).
• Lab experience in related field preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Proficient with the use of lab/test equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability
• Proficient with standard office software and ability to learn new specific software.
Physical requirement:
• All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
