• Entry level position assisting senior level associates with project execution and developing a deep understanding of basic functions and processes within the product safety group
Responsibilities:
Project Execution and Technical Readiness
• Review and understand raw material safety related global regulations
• Support global product registration through completion of cosmetic product safety report
• Support Adverse Event data management and metric reporting
• Support tracking of project landmarks
• Support product sample coordination, tracking and preparation for assigned categories
• Provide documentation support including workflow completion
• Responsible for day-to-day support for fragrance review and approval
• Manage documentation requests with Fragrance Houses
• Support maintenance of functional departmental metrics
• Supports process improvements within the Product Safety team
• Research and scoping of upcoming regulations or industry standards as needed
Contract Research Organization / Raw Material Vendor Management and Testing Budget Management
• Support senior associates in coordinating and placing safety and efficacy studies
• Gain understanding of Good Clinical Practice guidelines
• Support SOP drafting and revisions as needed
Product Safety Tracking and Reporting Activities
• Gain understanding and proficiency in departmental SOPs and work instructions
• Support administration of departmental tracking and reporting activities
• Learn effective summary reporting skills and apply as needed.
Innovation/ Emerging Issues Management
• Gain foundational understanding of developing technical issues
• Provide technical support and analysis to scientific affairs and product safety initiatives
• Support issue resolution by collaborating with cross-functional partners
• Engage in behaviors that lead in identification of opportunities for Scientific Affairs (innovation/ platform/ change management) within support of brand projects
Key Meetings
• Actively participate in Team meetings and touch bases
• Quarterly briefings
• Other relevant meetings as advised
Talent Management and Development
• Align with manager to create Individual Development Plan and Personal Performance Objectives
• Support new hire integration
• Coaching and Feedback
• Support Associate Opinion Survey (AOS)
