      The PSS Organization is a part of the Product Quality organization and are therefore a very important input to our new development Product projects. PSS brings in data and experience from our customers regarding service & serviceability and funnel lessons learned to the coming projects.

      Within the organization the Service Specialist works in cross-functional teams together with Part specialists, Technical information specialists, Global tech support, Parts planning and Sourcing functions to create a strong aftermarket offering for our products.

      About the role:

      The Service Specialist is responsible for developing and enhancing the How-to-Service concept. You will takes part in New development projects as well as Product improvements and Maintenance.

      The How-to-Service Concept focuses on supporting dealers by emphasizing preventive maintenance and providing clear service plans with all necessary documentation. It includes the use of specialized tools, contributes to service instructions and diagnostic processes, and supports the development of Product Error Codes (PEC). Additionally, it ensures standardized training materials are available, with a strong focus on product-specific maintenance and repair.

      The Service Specialist plays a central role in coordinating input from stakeholders such as Product Managers, R&D, and After Sales. A key responsibility is managing the creation of Workshop Manuals by placing orders with external technical writers, providing all necessary data and updates, and ensuring correct product model references or publication IDs are included. While the technical writer handles content production and translation, the Service Specialist is involved in all other steps of the technical information process.

      For other service documents—such as Service Guides, Service Plans, Product Service Books, and Product Error Codes—the Service Specialist oversees the full process, from creating publication entries in the PDM system to uploading and releasing them in the PLM system. Additionally, the role includes improving content reusability to reduce translation costs and verifying that all released publications are accessible in the digital content platforms like TDR and STEP.

      About you:
      You are a hands-on, technology focused individual with a positive and solution-oriented mindset—even when challenges arise. This role suits someone who is naturally curious, detail-focused, and driven by results. A self-starter by nature, the Service Specialist enjoys solving problems creatively and thrives in collaborative, international environments. With a strong sense of motivation, you are comfortable working independently but also values teamwork. Your logical thinking and proactive attitude make them a key contributor to both daily tasks and long-term improvements.


      Your skills and background:

      • Engineering education and/or experience with a minimum of 5 years of work experience within products and services
      • Experience of workshop/lab, dealer and/or technical support.
      • Solid understanding of aftermarket and customer experience
      • Knowledge in CAD and PLM tools (e.g. Catia, SmarTeam, Teamcenter) and a curiosity about other Rich Media systems
      • Proficiency in both Swedish and English

      Location

      This position will be placed in our of our main sites in Huskvarna.

      But, with our hybrid working environment, you’ll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (50%).
