What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide DBA support for distributed servers in a multi-datacenter environment
- Monitor daily activities and performance of complex SQL environments and implement approved solutions
- Configure SQL services, including security and clusters, and manage SQL Server releases and maintenance
- Develop technical documents, project plans and provide Tier III support for application issues
- Lead incident resolution efforts and engage resources for corrective actions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of college education
- Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA, particularly within the Azure Cloud environment
- Dependable and experienced in managing SQL applications in a cloud setting
- SQL Server DBA certification preferred
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience maintaining SQL databases within the Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
- Background in virtualized infrastructure running various Unix, Linux, and AIX operating systems
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel
- Experience in evaluating and proposing database design and process improvements
