- This position involves client relations, marketing, and sales tasks which involve the following:
- Interacting directly with clients in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, and other areas across Canada to forecast and plan solutions for our clients using products from our AssetArmorTM asset integrity product line.
- Travel to Fort McMurray and other areas while maintaining a presence in and communication with our fabrication facility in Sherwood Park;
- Working with our clients’ purchasing, planning, and engineering teams to assess and implement product solutions;
- Conduct formal/ informal market research. Provide reports to the Director, including updates on existing customers, potential customers and potential market opportunities addressing abrasion and corrosion challenges;
- Contribute to the development, implementation and assessment of strategies, strategic plans, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings;
- Engaging with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of any concerns;
- Planning, organizing, and attending conferences, trade shows, and events with clients;
- Coordinating and managing more extensive proposals/quotations aligned with company processes and client requirements;
- Monitoring and maintaining a safe work environment and integrating our safety program into day-to-day activities;
- Tracking and managing opportunities in the CRM, analyzing data and trends of clients, competitors, and market trends.
- Promoting our company’s research and development program with our clients.
- Someone with excellent personal and professional skills and the ability to prepare, present, participate in and facilitate group meetings and business presentations;
- Experienced in product sales related to pipe, fittings, vessels, valves, fabricated products, and/or asset integrity products;
- Experienced working with oil sands producers, refineries, midstream services, pipe fabricators, component manufacturers, and/or integrity product fabricators.

Job Description
Located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, our Wear Technologies division is a leading fabricator of asset integrity products servicing several industries. As part of our Sherwood Park Operations and Business Development teams, this role represents the first line of contact with new and existing customers to build and maintain long-term business relationships and offer tangible, fit-for-purpose solutions to our client’s asset integrity requirements.
This full-time, permanent position is based out of Sherwood Park, AB.
This position would likely be 6-10 business days in Fort McMurray/month, the remainder in Sherwood Park. Some travel to Calgary and other locations.
