JOB PURPOSE

• Provide Stewardship Program leadership and support across the entire life cycle for Bayer Crop Science Crop Protection, Seed and Traits and Biologicals products. Develop, update and implement internal procedures and guidance documents safeguarding the compliance aspects of the advancement and testing of BCS products and addressing critical LTO issues pro-actively and reactively.
• Work in a cross-functional capacity, drive and implement a robust and best in class Product Stewardship program by Identifying stewardship requirements and global best practices and ensure that they are implemented through regular training and monitoring in the form of audits.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train Safe Use Pesticide to Bayer staff and external customers
• Lead the implementation of the “safety use program” to costumer and provide tools measurement regarding progress achievement
• Develop and implement product stewardship initiatives for internal staff & external customers (plantations, farmers, retailers, dealers, distributors)
• Support Food Chain Program/Partnership related with product stewardship term in coordination with related Crop Managers
• Identify, evaluate (business case) & implement specific projects related with product stewardship as agreed with management, such as: Bicycle sprayer project, technical service support (e.g. Becano) to plantations
• Lead and monitor regulatory stewardship for label Crop Protection and packaging Seed Corn and Vege product
• Drive and implement compliance with Seed and Trait stewardship requirements and regulations including regulated trials and Excellence Through Stewardship (ETS) program for biotech crops to sustain LTO
• Implement Bayer Resistance Management (RM) process associated with commercialization of CP and GM resistant crops
• Monitor stewardship compliance implementation internally and sub-licensed traits and chemistries through audits
• Support Bayer's product anti-counterfeit strategy in the field to support the business
• Active contribution in CropLife relevant Sub-Committees

WHO YOU ARE

Education

• Bachelor, Master degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Agronomy, or other Biological or Environmental Sciences discipline.

Relevant experiences

• Minimum of 4 years stewardship experience with strong background on agricultural biotechnology related industry, agrochemicals specifically application methodology, protective equipment, labelling and risk mitigation
