What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product managers to translate product roadmap and requirements into user-friendly designs
- Drive user experience for the employer's SaaS products, enhancing overall usability
- Develop wireframes, UI prototypes, and annotated design specifications using Figma
- Work closely with engineers in agile scrum teams to implement design concepts
- Maintain and enhance the employer's UI design system

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of professional UI design and UX experience on a commercial browser-based SaaS product
- At least 1 year of experience using Figma for design
- Proven portfolio showcasing skills in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
- Experience designing component-driven user interfaces and applying atomic design principles
- Familiarity with agile/scrum-based development processes and collaboration with other UI/UX designers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors, UX, or UI design
- Experience maintaining and evolving a design system and UI component library
- UI/UX design experience with HRIS, employee management, or other B2B applications
- Prior hands-on web application development experience (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React)
- Knowledge of designing for accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA)
