      About Noumena

Current AI tools promise revolutionary capabilities but buckle under real-world demands. Noumena is creating the world's first full-stack intelligence system: a comprehensive AI platform that integrates and optimizes every layer from infrastructure to user experience. Unlike competitors who focus primarily on scaling model size, Noumena's approach is rooted in strategic specialization and system-level optimization.

Our product suite launching in Summer 2025 includes Noumena Coder: an intelligent coding assistant capable of deep refactors, multi-file PR planning, and long-range reasoning, all powered by our tailored routing across specialized models with 10M+ context lengths and adaptive compute scaling.

      About the Role

We're hiring a frontend-oriented full-stack engineer to help build the products and interfaces that sit atop our infrastructure—tools for coding, research, and intelligent collaboration. You'll work with our founding team to architect and ship performant, intuitive, and scalable tools that deliver on our promise of radically fast, deeply useful AI experiences that feel like magic.

      Responsibilities

      • Design and build web-based user interfaces for our AI products, including Noumena Coder and Research Agent
      • Collaborate with backend and infra engineers to optimize UX around real-time inference and 10M+ context lengths
      • Implement token streaming UX that maintains responsiveness even during complex operations
      • Translate product requirements into polished, responsive, production-ready applications
      • Create interfaces that elegantly handle multi-threaded operations, visualization rendering, and structured outputs
      • Contribute to full-stack features and system design where needed

You May Be a Good Fit If You:

      • Love building fast, intuitive user experiences that feel magical
      • Care deeply about how products feel—not just how they work
      • Have experience working across the stack, even if you prefer frontend
      • Enjoy shipping frequently and working directly with end users
      • Are excited by the technical challenges of building interfaces for next-generation AI tools

Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience With:

      • TypeScript, React, and component-based design systems
      • Model routing, inference UIs, and token streaming UX
      • Building IDE-style products or tools for technical professionals
      • Performance profiling and debugging at the frontend/backend boundary
      • Real-time collaborative interfaces and state management
      • Visualization libraries and dynamic content rendering

      How We're Different

We're building the AI tools we've all been promised but haven't yet experienced: tools that maintain context across complex projects, solve sophisticated problems without breaking, and actually improve with use rather than degrading. While current solutions initially impressed us with their potential, they ultimately buckled under real-world demands, revealing the limitations of fragmented stacks.

Joining Noumena means creating systems that deliver the transformative experience early AI products marketed but couldn't sustain: intelligence that persists, adapts, and truly elevates how professionals work, offering you the rare opportunity to help build the magical experience users have been waiting for.
