- Analyze sales orders within the planning lead time to ensure material is available to fulfill scheduled orders.
- Maintain sales order due dates to align with expected material availability and capacity limitations.
- Collaborate with Sales Support teams for revised priorities and rescheduling if orders are not fulfilled within the appropriate time frame.
- Ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Operations Project Managers and Material Coordinators to manage engineering change implementations on the production lines.
- Actively participate in material allocations while collaborating with Sales and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Perform analysis that highlights trends, drivers, and issues with production planning and participate in countermeasures to resolve issues.
- Participate as a planning representative on cross-functional project teams.
- Utilize planning tools to create tactical inventory and supply solutions efficiently.
- Support Production Supervisor and Leads in root-cause analysis activities related to production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in production planning and order management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- APICS Certification
- Experience with QAD / SAP and their applications
- Advanced skill level in Excel and Word, intermediate skills in PowerPoint
- Strong planning, analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Positive people skills and a team approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge in Sales Order management, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, ERP / MRP, and Procurement
- Effective written and oral communication skills

Job Title: Operations - Production Planning
Job Description
Develop and implement production build plans by considering sales order priorities, material availability, cost, and production capacity. Partner with production leadership to maximize output and labor for the respective product line(s). This role requires general knowledge of industry standards and involves frequent use and application of industry principles, theories, and concepts of production planning.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
