- Element Six is currently seeking an experienced Production and Logistics Support Specialist to join our collaborative team in Santa Clara, CA.
- We are looking to further expand our small and friendly team. The role is based on-site at our facility.
- The successful candidate will directly report to the Production Manager, working as part of a team of skilled engineers and technicians developing and producing high-performance diamond products for the global market.
- This is an important site-based role with opportunity for growth. You will be responsible for assisting operations, engineering, and finance teams; this will require critical decision-making, problem-solving capabilities and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- For the successful candidate a skill set is important, however equal emphasis will be put on personal abilities in terms of being a proactive team member, with the ability to communicate well and to think outside the box.
- We operate a skills-based program, and the successful applicant may be required to cross train into other areas as needed.
- Shipping and Receiving
- Coordinating and shipping outbound orders; liaising with external service providers.
- Maintain documentation for all inbound and outbound product.
- Following established procedures for receiving incoming orders and processing purchase orders.
- Inventory
- Maintaining updated and accurate records of inventory including periodic cycle counts.
- Review documentation to monitor discrepancies and perform reconciliations where appropriate.
- Assist with the coordination of material movement within the facility.
- Attention to detail and inventory calculations.
- Materials Management
- Provide support and proactively communicate with internal customers.
- Recommend improvements to existing operational procedures focused on efficiency and cost.
- Create, issue and close Work Orders. Assist in managing shop floor activities.
- Assist in creating and processing purchase orders.
- Experience and Education
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP software is preferred.
