  Position title: Production & Planning Manager Location: Hillegom - Netherlands Reports to: Site Manager Summary of the role: Manage both the Production and the Planning Team. Production can’t work without having a good plan and the right materials on time and in full on site, whereas if the production plan is not met there are big consequences for the supply chain. This is why you will be overseeing both departments in their day-to-day business and act quickly on occurring events. In this role you will provide various stakeholders the short- and long-term planning (S&OP) and will escalate where needed. Work closely with the Maintenance & Facility Manager to ensure the site has continues improvements on OEE. Maintain the right levels of inventory and reach a service level as set in the KPI’s while ensuring this is all done within set budget. During periods of absence/holidays of Plant Manager, you will assume role of site leader. Key responsibilities: - Plan receipt, order raw materials, produce, and shipment of soap refills. - Create an effective short- and long-term production plan (30/60/90day short term plan). - Ensure the accuracy of our stock in our facility and in our 3PL to avoid stock out. - Ensure production is done safe, OTIF, with good quality and at the right attainment level. - Ensure the daily flow of refills from the production facility to our 3PL. - Provide guidance and decision support to both internal and external workers as they receive production from the Hillegom facility. - Provide guidance and decision support to multiple freight forwarders. - Actively look for improvements in your responsible areas. - Setting up the budget and managing the expenses. - Maintain and improve on GMP standards. - Lead the S&OP process for capacity outputs for the site. - Operations KPI delivery - Managing the day-to-day operation at the warehouse for our raw materials. - Working closely with our external 3PL. - Deliver service level (globally) - Deliver Scheduling Attainment Targets - Provide reporting and analysis support for other operations performance indicators. - Support facility with cycle counting program. - Deliver on site OEE targets. - Create, maintain and manage a portfolio of (possible) productivity projects. - Be the driver of the Lean implementation & the continuous improvement culture in the manufacturing area. - Responsible to minimize the scrap & waste cost due to production errors. - Responsible for training of all labor.
