CBS Sports is looking for a freelance Production Assistant (PA) to work with the Ft Lauderdale control room/production team to produce podcasts for air on CBS Sports Network.

The PA is responsible for assisting all aspects of daily studio production, with an emphasis on graphics and video editing.

Your Day-to-Day:

-Assist with Graphics/Font Coordination on studio shows

-Research newsworthy events

-Collaborate on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage

-Create graphics, storylines and breaking news elements

-Assist with editing on Adobe Premiere with a base knowledge of After Effects

-Knowledge of studio rundowns, and the ability to assist with producing segments from control rooms

Qualifications:

What you bring to the team:

You have –

-A minimum of 1 year work experience in broadcast/digital/podcast production

-Understanding of control room environment

-Knowledge about social media and the competitive digital news environment

-Strong communication skills to work effectively with different departments

-Time management skills

-Basic video editing skills - Adobe Premiere

-Able to work flexible hours and on weekends

-Knowledge of major and minor sports

You might also have –

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

-The ability to work in fast-paced environment, deal with intense deadline

pressure and quickly react to breaking news

-Strong understanding of Photoshop

-Familiarity with Inception/ENPS/iNews

-Experience with podcast production

-Hands on experience with a variety of sports productions (control room experience)

-Knowledge of the sports landscape and ability to think outside the box visually

Hiring Salary Range: $55000.0 - 55000.0.
