Job Description
- Req#: 11865
- 1st shift = Mon-Thur, 5:45am-4:15pm
- 2nd shift = Mon-Thur, 4pm-2:30am
- Shift premium of .75/hour for 2nd shift
- Operate machinery used in the production process.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using motorized equipment.
- Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
- Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.
- Mark or tag identification on parts.
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Clean and lubricate equipment.
- Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes cartons, glue, ink, labels, etc…
