Overview

East Penn is currently seeking a Production Clerk to work 1st shift.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Typing, data entry, filing, copying, faxing and answering several phone lines.Assisting visitors and employees and directing them to the proper destination.Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.Maintain records on incoming deliveries. Create and update charts or reports in Word or Excel. Check all details on invoices. Match packing slips to invoices. Process packing slips for payment. Developing and entering a variety of information (systems tables, part numbers, bill of materials, routings/labor steps, daily, weekly, monthly reports) directly or from data sheets into Glovia (Material Requirements Planning System)

*Maintains regular attendance.*Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.

Qualifications

Literate, basic math skills, computer and typing skills (Excel, Word). Must be able to communicate and work well with people on all levels, both internally and outside of the company, (Management, technicians, other clerical staff, vendors, suppliers and customers). Organizational skills are important. Experience with Somax and Glovia preferred.
