What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately code from available documents using current CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS codes
- Review billing records for supporting documentation to maximize revenue
- Identify and split bill cosmetic or case rate cases as needed
- Maintain certification CEU requirements
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of coding experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current CPC or CCS-P certification required or working toward certification
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS coding
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in related field
- Experience with medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
